Business networking is establishing a mutually beneficial relationship with other business people and potential clients or customers. Business networking benefits are the intangible gains made by communicating with other professionals in or relating to specific industries.GAEF will facilitate networking sessions and provide a platform where they can exchange ideas, concepts, or methods that can be introduced. Finally, everyone can reap the reward of networking by growing together.

Business Workflow Documentation

Before reaching the consumers, all products go through research, approvals, testing, etc. GAEF's objective is to capture these steps or business workflow so that an aspiring entrepreneur can reap the benefit of these lessons learned. Documentation will be developed for a specific product or GAEF Focus areas. GAEF members will be able to access this documentation.

Mentoring

Entrepreneurial mentoring involves an experienced entrepreneur supporting a prospecting or novice entrepreneur in acquiring the necessary competency for establishing and managing his or her business venture. GAEF will organize sessions as needed to offer mentoring in specific Focus areas.

Advocacy

The export use case of BordoloiBiotech’s Herbojoint shows that they must streamline local or Central Government policies/procedures to make the NorthEast region more business-friendly. GAEF will leverage these findings to suggest possible improvements in policies for local governments.

The mission of GAEF is to support, empower and grow Assamese and Northeastern women-led business with mentoring and practical help.

Women entrepreneurship development is an instrument of women empowerment, which in turn, leads to development of the society as a whole.

GAEF FOCUS AREAS

GAEF has identified the following focus areas. Each focus area team will consist of subject-matter experts, Government officials, and aspirant entrepreneurs. Focus area teams will cultivate information for the specific regions and document them to support future queries. During this process, GAEF will also ensure to facilitate the sessions involving all stakeholders to clear any roadblocks for the products to reach the market

Agriculture is still the biggest sector, not only in Assam but in all of India. If we have to make a real positive impact to the development of the Community, we need to look back at the soil and our Agro- economy.
